We can assist with challenges such as: Family breakdown and stress, domestic violence, social isolation, visa issues, financial crisis and job loss, chronic or acute physical Illness, substance abuse and other addictions (gambling, gaming, hoarding), depression and mental health issues, parenting difficulties, including parents with learning difficulties and parenting of children with special needs, learning difficulties, twice-exceptional diagnoses and gifted children. JewishCare also offers various youth programs.

An 8 to 12 week program for people with diagnosed COPD or other respiratory condition who are experiencing breathlessness in their day-to-day life or have had a recent hospital admission. The program involves exercise sessions that patients attend twice a week for 8 to 12 weeks (each session usually includes 60 to 90 minutes of supervised exercise by a physiotherapist). Patients are also taught how to manage their breathlessness and provided education sessions to discuss medication, oxygen therapy, inhalers, nutrition, medical benefits, control of breathlessness and more.
